An affordable add-on to get the most out of your visit to Ngā Manu Nature Reserve.
Join our knowledgeable staff on their morning feeding round of our captive species. As you make your way through a selection of aviaries and our Nocturnal House you will learn about our conservation effort as well as the personalities of the animals we care for – kiwi, kākāriki, kāka, kea, tūī, scaup, kererū, weka, and whio, along with tuatara and our native lizards. There are many opportunities for close encounters and photos.
Due to the Omicron outbreak we are currently experiencing staff shortages and are unable to run this experience. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
