And don’t miss our wonderful new attraction – DWELLBEINGS. This sculpture trail will put your observation skills to the test and get everyone in the family engaged with nature as you follow the clues to seek out the 8 Dwellbeings. These tiny, abstracted dwellings are created from salvaged and reclaimed materials by renowned artists Kemi Niko & Co. and they will get you thinking about homes and habitats from the perspective of the native animals and plants that are iconic to our reserve. We’re sure you’ll have loads of fun finding them all!

As a charitable trust, your visit to Ngā Manu supports Ngā Manu’s wildlife and conservation programmes – thank you!

Please Note: Visitors to Ngā Manu Nature Reserve will be required to show their My Vaccine Pass prior to entry. Masks must be worn in our Visitor Centre and nocturnal house, but are not required outside. No prior booking necessary.
