Unlock your creativity this Waitangi Weekend at our exclusive Māori weaving workshops.

Join us on Monday and Tuesday (5 & 6 Feb) for three daily half-hour sessions at 10.30am, 11.30am and 12.30pm. Learn the art of Māori weaving and craft your very own putiputi (flower), tiparae (headband) for beginners and for those more experienced, kono (basket); all made from harakeke (flax).

Embrace this Māori tradition and make memories – free with the price of admission. Fill your final days of holiday and join us for crafting and connection. Suitable for any age.

Sausage sizzle

On Waitangi Day, bring your whole family to Ngā Manu for a picnic. We have the sausie sizzle, you bring the  blanket! From 11am- 2pm. Sausages are $2.50.
