How many guests can we have at our wedding?
Robin’s Nest can accommodate weddings and celebrations for up to 90 guests. We can also discuss smaller, more intimate celebrations depending on what you have in mind.
Can we have both our ceremony and reception at Ngā Manu?
Yes. Robin’s Nest offers a beautiful setting for both ceremonies and celebrations, with indoor and outdoor spaces, a private lawn and a deck overlooking the pond.
There are also other beautiful natural settings within the Reserve that may be suitable for your ceremony or photographs.
Do we arrange our own caterer?
Yes. We can provide information about catering options and help you understand what is possible for your wedding at Robin’s Nest.
Can we have alcohol at our wedding?
Yes, if it is for private consumption and it is not for sale. Nga Manu supports host responsibility.
Can we decorate Robin’s Nest for our wedding?
Yes, you can personalise the space to make it your own, subject to Ngā Manu’s guidelines.
We’ll let you know which decorations and styling options are suitable for the venue and its natural surroundings. As Ngā Manu is a nature reserve, we ask that all decorations are removed after your event and that nothing is used that could harm wildlife or the environment.
Can we stay at Ngā Manu after the wedding?
Yes. Theo’s Cottage offers accommodation for up to four guests within the Reserve, making it a special option for the wedding couple or close family and friends.
